The Other Other

A coproduction of The Regional Dance Center of Eastern Finland and Anna-Maija Terävä & Katja Mustonen, 2021.

The Other Other is a collaboration of choreographer-dancers Katja Mustonen and Anna-Maija Terävä. In this work otherness is being viewed as a transformation in the self and as a way or attitude of looking at the other. Otherness is also seen as a possibility to be multiple, together and alone. What if today I borrow something from my future self? Who or what do I become? When I look at you, what does my gaze see? Do I see only you or also a reflection of myself?
